This is my first year at Iola High School and I'm so excited to be here. I have been teaching for 11 years. I spent 5 years teaching Middle & High School mathematics and this is my 6th year teaching Special Education with ANW Special Education Coop. Currently, I teach a Strategies for Success class with an Academic focus, a Strategies for Success class with a Behavior focus, Consumer Education, Computer Applications, Math and a Reading Intervention class.
For the past few years, I have been teaching at Altoona-Midway with grades 5-12. I am enjoying the students and staff at Iola High School greatly. I have met some great kids already and seen a lot of progress made. I look forward to many more years of success at IHS.
Most of my spare time is spent cooking or at ballgames with my children. I have 3 kids who keep me very busy!
