I have three sons and a stepdaughter. The oldest boy is 23 and is an Airborn Artillary soldier stationed in Alaska. He has two children and is married.
The younger two boys are still in high school and attend school in Chanute where I live with my boyfriend, Sam. My stepdaughter attends Chanute Elementary. When not at work, Sam and I are usually working on one of our rental houses or attending our kids’ activities which include Soccer, Basketball, Band and Dance.
We love animals and have 12 Chickens, 7 cats, 4 dogs and 2 fish.
In my free time I enjoy crafting, hiking and having fun with the kids.
I am a life-long Southeast Kansas resident. I grew up in Parsons, attended college at PSU and have worked for the ANW Special Education Cooperative for 13 years. When not teaching I am usually hanging out with my kids at one of their activities, working on houses or hiking or otherwise trying to get some outdoor therapy in.
