What is Success to Me?

Students were asked “What does success mean to you? How do you want people to remember you?” Here are their responses:

"I want people to remember me by how nice I am to people. I also want them to remember me by how mature I am. I want to graduate high school then go to college for physical therapy and then finally graduate from college, have a family, and to have a amazing life."

“I would like them to remember by being an awesome chill dude. I find success to be what the people around you see you as. And getting your work done on time, always.”

"I want people to remember me as someone who loved the Lord. I want to love everyone, being a friend to anyone and willing to help others. I want people to think of me as a little creative/full of color."

"I want to be noticed as a well respected worker who can push his limits to make his life truly worth something and also be remembered for my successes in my life such as an eagle scout, a musician, and much more. Success to me is accomplishing your goals and by doing so, you succeed for what you strive to be."

"I want people to remember me as the one to help if they need it, the one who always stood up for what I believed in, kind hearted, non selfish, and always reliable. Success is a term that has a very broad spectrum of possibilites. Sucess is what you determine as successful. It isn't all about money, or even the fame or socioability that you may, or may not have. It is all about the way you percieve yourself, and wheather or not if you contributed to what you wanted to contribute too, and even do all of the things on your bucket list."

"I would want people to remember that I always worked hard and that I was a selfless person. Success, to me, means that you got what you've always wanted."

"I want to be remembered as a legend of Iola. I want to be one of a kind. More importantly I want people to know my name all over the world. I want to inspire people to do whatever they want to do with their lives."

"I want them to remember me as a nice and friendly guy. I think success is determined by happiness. I think it is achieving something that makes you happy."
