Chess Club is open to all IHS students.  Some students are just learning.  Some students play for fun.  Some students want to get better and be competitive.  

Meeting Times: Every week during Second Seminar (Wednesdays at 2:15).  Many clubs meet monthly, however, Chess allows students to drop in for a casual game when they do not have other planned activities.

Location: Chess Club meets in the Library.

Faculty sponsors: Paul Miller, Jean John.  And occasional drop-ins from other USD 257 surprise guests!

Club History:  During the semester finals of December 2017, several students gathered in the commons.  A few pulled out chess boards and started to play. Soon sponsors were found, and a club was formed.
