Currently teaching American and World History.

Coaching positions: Assistant HS football and baseball; Head MS Basketball.

2005 -2007 Wayne Community Schools (NE) Taught middle school Social Studies. Coached HS football, MS track and American Legion baseball.

2007-2010 Omni Behavioral Health (Columbus NE). Worked as a residential mental health specialist assisting youth in developing social self-awareness and controlling emotions and behaviors.

2010-2013 Winside Public Schools (NE) Taught 7-12 Social Studies. Coached HS / MS football and basketball

2013-2018 Yates Center (KS) Taught 6-8 Social Studies. Coached HS football, baseball and MS basketball.

Wife: Leah. Married 2017. Directs Superior Buliding Supply (family ran business in Yates Center.) Former Mayor and City Council member of YC. 

Children: Gavin (23) Project Engineer Crossland Heavy. Graduate of Pittsburg State University 2021.

Kershaw (4) attends Ms. Megans pre-school and wants to play for the Dodgers.

Pets: Kodiak (Chocolate Labrador) and Kyah (Golden Retriever)

When away from the classroom I like to attend sporting events and concerts.
